Alejandro Meyerhans
CEO · Get Me LinksPractitioner-strategist who brings systems thinking, original research, and depth to search discoverability. A decade in search, published patent researcher, international conference speaker, and architect of GML's intelligence-driven methodology.
Background
A decade in search — since February 2016. Reading the patents, testing the signals, building the systems, and living with the consequences of the recommendations.
The work spans hundreds of SEO engagements: website recoveries, penalty resolutions, competitive market entries from zero, and large-scale builds that have generated millions of organic visitors. The early years were spent building and managing a portfolio of digital assets through what became Onfolio — a publicly traded holding company on the Nasdaq that originated from an idea I pitched to Dominic Wells in Berlin in 2018. Dom evolved that concept into the current holding company.
International conference speaker on search patent analysis and off-page strategy. The research is grounded in primary sources — Google’s ranking patents, the API leak documentation, and DOJ trial evidence — not industry opinion.
How I Got to Get Me Links
Before leading GML, I was a client.
I was running my own boutique SEO agency working with online publishers, and I needed links. Get Me Links was a reputable provider — good placements, strong sites, consistent results. I used them for years.
When new ownership needed leadership to take the company forward in 2022, I stepped in as CEO. What I inherited was a mandate to rebuild. Revenue had contracted significantly. Internal processes needed restructuring. The product needed to evolve with what the ranking systems had become.
Within nine months, the company recovered operationally. But the more important shift was strategic. I started asking a different question for every client engagement: not “what links do you want?” but “what does the data say you actually need?” That question changed the business model, the team composition, the product, and eventually — the entire identity of the company.
Research & Frameworks
The research focuses on the intersection of Google’s documented ranking systems and practical SEO execution. Two published frameworks form the intellectual foundation of every GML engagement:
TISEL (Theory → Intelligence → Strategy → Execution → Learning) — the operating methodology that ensures every campaign is grounded in evidence before a single link is placed. The key principle: depth at each stage produces compounding returns that outperform speed without foundation.
TCLUB (Technical · Content · Links · UX · Brand) — the discoverability framework that prevents the hyper-compartmentalization that makes most link building campaigns underperform. A link builder who doesn’t understand brand signals, content quality, or UX is building on sand.
Both frameworks are published and maintained on my research site, where the patent analysis, codex research, and methodology documentation live. GML is where that research becomes execution.
My Role at Get Me Links
As CEO, I run senior strategy and competitive intelligence for enterprise accounts. Every new engagement begins with an intelligence assessment I’ve designed or reviewed directly. For clients on strategic tiers, I’m directly involved in campaign architecture, competitive audits, and ongoing strategic direction.
The team operates the systems. I design them.
Areas of direct involvement:
- Competitive intelligence and link profile analysis
- Campaign architecture for strategic and enterprise accounts
- Patent-informed link building methodology
- Quality standards and placement criteria
